Super Jet Fill holes on ride plate?

This seems like a very popular mod on the Hulk and seems to provide a little extra speed. I'm wondering if it might make the rear of a SJ a little more playful. Anyone done this? Even thought about it?

Freakin Green Hulkers are retarded. I think I will go pull a superman position on my wife's couch. Plug the bolt holes of your ride plate with propoxy 20 for extra MPH? Why not just fill them with 10 cents worth of silicone while mounting it????

Calling them retarded is a little silly, don't you think? They are mostly after a different end result. Here, people want to flip and roll. There, they want to go faster. If filling holes and doing other things you think are silly aren't your thing, then why worry about it?

To answer your question, silicone will pop out under speed.

those guys would trip out if they saw the bare smc showing on the bottom of my hull much less the gouges and scrapes from beaching.

Exactly, thanks. They would probably think we're stupid for trying to save weight on batteries, gas tanks, cutting up our hulls and all the other crazy stuff we do.
