Factory port work?

Is this factory grinding around these transfer ports or was someone inside this engine before me? I was under the impression transfer ports aren't to be messed with much and this seems sloppy.

Those don’t look like they have been touched. I think you are just seeing the chamfering so the rings don’t snag a sharp port.
