Blaster Factory pipe swap problems

I just bought a blaster with b pipe. I swapped the 701 out of the blaster and put it into my sn and put the 650 into the blaster. My 650 has a factory pipe as well. I'm trying to put the head pipe on the 650 and it is not lining up right in the blaster hull. What's wrong? I'm getting frustrated over somthing probably really simple. Thanks for any help.

First off the chambers won't swap from SJ to B1. The manifold and headpipe is interchangeable but I have a feeling the headpipe you are trying to fit in the B1 and having problems with is an earlier headpipe with a thicker mounting flange (where it mounts to the manifold). That extra 1/4" or so will make the chamber hit against the hull where the foot trays cut into the engine bay. Take a look at that flange thickness

The other possibility is the head pipe that was in the blaster could've been a kawi head pipe which is cocked a few degrees differently from the yamaha head pipes. If the previous owner bought the pipe used, it could've been a pipe that was pieced together with random parts for sale.

KTM434 what would the thickness of the newer vs older flange be? I just want to check mine to see if its the newer or older one, it came from a 95 Waveraider so its at least 95+ (which is still REALLY old)

It is my understanding that the head pipes on blasters are many times right against the hull or very near it...I talked with Dustin Mustangs on here (knows blasters pretty well) about this issue before and he agrees it is a problem with blasters. I recall that he did grind some off the hull in the area to help create a little space...My blaster headpipe is against the hull and I spray lithium grease between the two to help with the friction.
