FACTORY PIPE in my new 2008 SJ.

The propo is good, what you can do to improve it is to cut it by 2-3mm (bring closer to vanes) - better pump loading for those rocket take offs! And then the intake grate.. :)

Where did you get the pipe from? F-pipe website? Reseller?

Have fun!

Ordered the pipe straight from Factory.... Best price when you go direct. My buddy hooked me up with a R&D scoop grate, its works but I am not sure if I wanna spend the big $$$$ for the WORX 228...... The new one for the 08+ is crazy pricey!

yes but it would probably be a good idea to get the '08+ SJ grate - the reason being is your pump setup requires a different scoop angle for proper flow into the pump - which is why they made the 228

you have a new ski, new pipe, might as well get the grate new too

Thanks man! Its coming along, many many more mods are being put in the last few weeks. Pictures will be up soon. As for my grate I am running a R&D grate for 07 and earlier skis....I know i know i should be running a WORX 228 but they are not cheap. This grate works awesome and it was free! Carbs are a great compliment to the new pipe, the pro-tec 38's I am running are not too pricey and they get rid of that useless stock choke, they are taper bored nice and super smooth and have a much stronger linkage between the carbs than OEM. Being as mine are off an 08 they had plugs that blocked the fuel screws on the stockers. If your 07 has no plugs you are lucky, rejet the stockers and tune with the screws to save some $$$$. With the protecs all i changed was the main jet to a 135.

Just an FYI, The stock prop is just OK.... I put on a hooker 11/17 with 7mm cutback on my 08, and it is the single best mod since my b-pipe. Super grabby low end, and gobs of top end.

Manfish.... hey i'm trying to figure out this b pipe stock cooling. Can you help me explain where these hoses are suppose to run to? I never saw any pictures in my instructions that everyone seems to talk about. Also my kit didnt come with the white hose i see on your ski. Was i suppose to purchase that?

This may be a stupid question but how did you get the top center bolts tightened. I tried to install mine on my 01 sj and I can not figure out how to to get those bolts tighted up.

For the top center manifold bolts, you put those on first until there are no threads showing, then slide on the manifold and put on the rest of the bolts, just installed mine a couple weeks ago.

I did this but water wants to spray out the top by the center bolts. I got those as tight as possible and slowly taped the manifold into place.

Make sure you take the bracket off that bolts on to the top of the head. Leaving it on will keep the manifold from sitting flush against the cylinder.
