Super Jet FActory Pipe Fitment Issue

Ok, never ran into this one before even with my other RN so this one has me stumped. Here is what I got. 96 RN, factory pipe with limited chamber and an OEM waterbox out of a new Superjet. I have the waterbox mounted where it needs to be and the chamber is seated flush all the way inside the headpipe. The stinger is actually touching the waterbox inlet so there is no way to get the stinger to waterbox hose installed. The engine is as far back as it can go as well. Any ideas?

In what way?

should be standing up, not lying down,that small notch on the outlet of box should be on the right- starboard- side of ski.

You can see the strap marks from the original install. And protect those cables.

note, this box does not have that above mentioned notch- it's a fac. pipe brand

I think picture I found on google the guy had it mounted wrong as well. Any rate, I got everything sorted. Thanks for the help.
