Factory pipe carbon

Anyone know what this is worth I think it’s fixable to the rite person. Tightened the clamp down to hard and cracked it

I dunno I dont think it's worth anything. I dont think the repair will bond properly die to the oil and fuel run through it. The epoxy will have a hard time bonding no matter how much you try to degrease it. Similar to trying to weld cast aluminum after it's had exhaust gas run through for several years. I could be wrong but it would be quite tough to repair that unfortunately.

That’s kind of what I figured I heard I can try to use west systems but I’m not sure it will have strength to be clamped on

Won’t be strong enough probably if you just try to use glass and resin. Maybe if you glass in a section of aluminum pipe though it might work. Slit it down the middle to be able to expand it to slide over and then epoxy that in place

Or get the pipe on the inside. That might be better.

the biggest issue will be as i stated before getting the resin to stick where the pipe has had exhaust gases and oil residue run through it. the pipe itself if it was clean could be repaired no problem but since its been run that changes everything
