Super Jet FActory pipe B-pipe MOD or limited?

i know this quistion has been upp before. and i have truely searched.

here´s the dilema.
i can get the MOD pipe from denmark which is near. for about 960 usd to my door.

i can get a Limited for 705 + 195 x 1,3 = 1170 to my door (30% import tax/customs fee)
from the us. would have been cheaper but factory pipe only ships with feedex.

is the limited pipe that much better?

right now i have a 701 62t/61x with 35ccdomes and an epic ignition.

i will probobly want to go up to a bigbore some day like a 771 or something like that.
will the mod pipe hold me back with the bigger displacement?

in serious need of help.

i´m a freestyler/freerider who rides surf as much as i can.

i've had both over the years on mild engines and couldn't tell the difference. i'd go with the cheaper alternative plus the mod pipe is easier to install since it's shorter.

that's me in a nutshell: cheaper and easier are at the top of the list

Just get the mod pipe and enjoy it! I have big bore stroker engines with EPICs and mod chambers, can't tell the difference

mod chamber will take the big bore in the future anyway.

what difference can you tell. less power? or what?

what's the difference ? the power band starts earlier with LTD from my experience doing just the chamber swap and nothing else...

you would still enjoy the Mod...

the LTD chamber will be torquier.......it made the powerband feel a little more complete, hard to explain..but definatly torquier...

more volume = more power


not saying a mod chamber is a bad choice!

you can tune the mod chamber to be a little longer with the top water screw and make up for it in bottom end torque and responce

LTD middle screw open only 1/2 turn here...top screw open is believed by my engine build specialist to bring more moisture into the top end...

Just out of curiosity, would trying to buy from someone on here be cheaper? I know it's a little dishonest but there are plenty of guys that will ship to Canada and declare the value is $50-$100 to help get around the import taxes. $1000 just seems really expensive for what you're getting.

Ive run both on a exhaust ported 701 the limited pipe hits much quicker

yes it would be cheaper.
and that is what i´m trying to do. i dont think it´s dishonest.

here in sweden we already get drowned in taxes.

they take 33% on my income in taxes. then 25 tax as general on stuff i buy. on gas i pay over 300% tax and then i pay 25% tax on the already paid taxes.
and then i go buy jetski parts i have to pay a customs fee and taxes. so 7% customs 24% tax and 12 usd postal fees

and the months where i earn more then 5000usd i have to pay 50% tax on what is above that.
so i´m not feeling that its dishonest. since i already pay a whole lot of taxes.

i love this country so i dont feel totaly screwed.

but you have to think about conversion rates. 1000 bucks is like 6400 swedish crowns. i can get the pipe from denmark for 6200 and that is a good price.
would you like to know what a brand new superjet costs. i sure know you do. 12000usd. whoppie

the dollar is realy low thats what makes for the coco prices.
