Factory bildge question

I recently finished alot of stuff on the ski (paint inside and out foot holds rebuild) Long story short I found an extra hose (think it was twist tied up when I bought the ski) I laid it in the bottom thinking it was a siphon and had a one way inside the hose somewhere... ( I also a bildge on a witch)

Would it be better to plug the line, if so how do you plug it, (just pinch the line or plug it with somekind of epoxy,

Or get the Vacum Break?(guessing from other post I read under my searching) and mount it like its suppose to be...

Oh yeah I went riding last weekend and fought with water most the day when it was sitting, was fine when I was riding but not sure how good it was woking though when I was riding because i keep my pump on..

if you have a bilge pump then just plug the line with eopxy, bolt, clamp, whatever you want to use that will keep the water out, the bilge pump works like 50 times better than the stock bilge.

Isn't is sucking not pumping water in?, or is that the point?

I can touch the exhaust and the motor right now without it burnign me, forget the laser therm this weekend but the motor does not feel that warm to start, granted the water was in the 60's and wont be this summer...

It sucks not pumps. You can use the bulkhead fitting for dual cooling but you'd have to connect the line to a diff place on the pump to take her from suck to blow. There is a weird post looking thing that stick out opposite of the normally cooling line on the pump and that is where most people drill and tap it for dual cooling. That said, dual cooling isn't a good thing unless you need it not to mention it's a pain to hook up.

Also, if using it as a bilge, the line has to be above the waterline at some point or water will back flow into the hull when floating with the engine not running. The stockers come way up high in the hull and then back down to where they bail the water from because of this. I have an electric bilge on my blaster and left the stock one in so when my electric one isn't running I am still bailing water overboard (albeit not very much).

think i may just plug the end then kink it and hose clamp or zip tie it down incase incase I change my mind down the road or the ski starts running way to hot this summer

Thanks
