Extra Large RN fuel tank ?

Blowsion says the RPR rear fuel tank (5.85 liters) would fit with a few mods, anyone know of a used one for sale. Otherwise I will prob go with the backpack with extra fuel. I can't picture riding with an extra tank in the tray in rough ocean, as it is a proven fact that no matter what time of day it is, the moment I get in the water the wind shifts from offshore to hard southeast. I'm sure BruceSki gets the same conditions in Long Island

Maybe in flatwater? Surf riding I like extra weight and a heavy boat. My boat rides nose high at a half tank or lower. Full tank is great riding.

And I have ridden Carbon rickter and carbon freak in surf. Lightweight boats belong in the bay or the lake.

its all in setup,I ride a carbon freak with a 2lb 2gallon tank. lighter ski is a more maneuverable ski. shimmed the grate down, lose the 65v nozzle, grind down the stop on bottom of nozzle for trim, add some tubbies, front foot hold inside hull. Guess it depends if you ride surf stance with weight over middle ski. I hate lifting and draggin a heavy ski around on beach, cart and trailer. I have a 360 lb surf ski that collects dust now also
