Extended nozzle?

I'm still a newb to a lot of stuff. But my RN came with an extended nozzle. It's been extended by maybe 2 to 3 inches. Does this improve anything? Or am I better off taking it off. Thanks guys. I'm going to try and post a pic.

Yah... Me to. I totally love the ski. Funnest thing I've ever been on. But the only thing I have to compare it to is our older 92 750 and a 89 650. The guy I got it from said he mainly put it on for fountaining. But didn't say anything about it effecting anything else.

Thanks for the input there. I have been looking at some other ski pics and have noticed a few aftermarket extended nozzles kinda like the plumbing on mine. Lol....
