Exhaust pipe coupler questions

Okay if you know the answer please respond,I need to know about high temp silicone exhaust couplers.I am looking at several couplers and there are 3 ply and 4 ply couplers available.What I need to know is this ,are the four ply couplers thicker than the three ply couplers,I have a three ply now and need to take up some space on the special stainless steel band clamp that I am using for it to tighten down properly,I am thinking if the 4 ply couplers are thicker then that would pretty much do it.Let me know if you have any experience with these.

Yes thicker, but as they get thicker they can get less flexible and harder to work with, but you might be ok.

I used their 3 ply on my dry pipe and it worked great. I ordered another for my B pipe almost a month ago and still have yet to hear from them or see the product. Something is up with their website and their customer service phone line says its been disconnected. I don't know wtf is up at their shop but I would hold off on ordering anything from them till you can get them on the phone.
