I had the great pleasure to meet and spend time with Doug Silverstein this past weekend.......... Who is Doug.......... well, you see, Doug was the first ever National Champion in Jetski Racing.......... Or I guess you could say for the first 3 years he was champion............ After that he went on to work for Kawasaki for 10+ years and then (Gulp) Seadoo R&D for about 6 more after that........... Believe it or not, he even worked on the 3D.......... But to put it in perspective, " We had a good thing going with the 3 D Until Seadoo's Engineers got ahold of it..........!!!!!!!!!!!"
Doug and his wonderfull Wife Diane worded for Mike Young this past weekend at the first 2 rounds of the Eastern States Cup........... and fittingly, Doug and Diane ran "Tech"................... I hope to see them at more races in the future.........
