SX/SXi/SXi Pro Ever seen this before?

I was doing a speed run on my 750 and it stopped hooking up so I felt for my grate to see if something was stuck and I got this.
There was an UMI toploader there. But now it's at the bottom of the lake. Ever seen this before?

I had the same thing happen on my 98 sxi pro. Needless to say now I put some loctite on those bolts. Intake grates arent cheap.

looks like he pulled out the bolt inserts, not lost the bolts
some epoxy work is in your future!

I've lost a ride plate on an old 550 years ago but no intake grate yet..

I'm not gonna even bother fixing it. I already slapped everything into a clean sxi hull my buddy gave me. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone on this lol.
