Ever do a sub at 40 mph?

well i have. i was just messing around like i always do behind a boat while trying to get to the other side of the lake, i was goin just about full throttle, hittin the waves, and pulling up the footholds a little to get the ski flat. well, i brought them up a little too high and it shot straight down. i went over the handlebars and did a couple flips, then came up and saw my ski upside down about 15 feet away, with the motor running away :banghead: turns out the handlepole was pointed straight down and the throttle was twisted around the bars causing it to open about halfway. the damn hood is sealed so good that it never even gulped in water so i had to listen to it for the whole swim. i can't believe nothing broke, but man was that scary.

oh i know i'm so mad nobody was filming that. the people on the boat sure did sh*t their pants though, they circled back and were yelling like oh my god are you okay!?

:arms: LOL. I'm gonna start saying no everytime there's hot chicks in the boat, but pride hasn't allowed me to do it yet.

my buddy did that on his sxr when he first got his holds.....he said he was running about 40 when he jumped a boat wake....picked up a little too much and down he went. slammed into the bottom of the river. boat depth finder said it was 20ft deep. either he went way down or there was a shallow spot. his front bumper was crooked a little after it happened.

I did that once, scary feeling. My stock hoodliner is permantly popped down because of it. I held on, but it took a while to float back to the surface.

Just ride
SXR's suck for that. When your blasting out the inlet to go to the surf the nose of the SXR stays down and just plows sometimes when you start getting into swells and you go down hard.

yep been there ans done the over the bars trick on my x2 i didnt go down that deep on that one tho just kinda did a front flip and caterpulted me 20 feet away from my ski :banghead:

what.. only 40mph... you dont have one of those ski's everyone is selling on ebay that goes 90mph..lol

that must have sucked..

if a ski when down 20feet, it whould take prob a good 45secons to a min to come back up... if it comes back up... and inorder to get that deap he must haev held the throttle down for 5 seconds or more wile under water, pointing stright doew.. BS...

prob more like 8feet that felt like 20'
