Other Epoxy Resin Storage

I am installing footholds in my ski right now and I purchased epoxy resin from us composts. I just epoxied the holds in and now I am waiting for them to dry.

Quick question: Is it ok to store the hardener and resin with the pumps on? I will use the resin and hardener tomorrow. Or should I clean and remove them after each use? Whats the best way to clean them?

The pumps will be fine for short term storage (a week or so), I have seen them work a year later with some epoxies but eventually it will thicken. Alcohol will cut epoxy without damaging anything else, be careful with other solvents. If the epoxy is over about a year old look for white powder at the bottom of the can, if there is some then heat it to 120-140 and it will go away and be ready for use.
