Super Jet Engine vibration

Stripped engine down for respray to fit in rickter hull put it all back together with new gaskets and fitted. Started first tip and runs good, but there is a serious vibration on tick over and engine rattles all over and rev it up and runs perfect checked coupler clearance and clearance around mounts all looks good. Engine is 701 with 38s and b pipe, any help would be great

I'm learning myself, so double check my info. But check for air leaks and if you messed with the carbs or linkage maybe the carbs need to be synchronized. Thats if your running duals, hope this gets you headed in the right direction. Best of luck

Make sure the starter bendix retracting after you start.
If it is sticking and staying engaged to the flywheel is can cause some serious vibrations and unwanted noises at lower RPM.
