In the process of rebuilding my engine. It's a 6m6 bottom end with 61x top. When I took it apart I noticed that one of my exhaust ports has a chunk missing. The metal isn't in my waterbox so it must have made it out at some point.

I want to get a new top end so I have started looking for 61x cylinders. Do these need to be machined in order for them to fit on the 6m6 bottom end?

All bottom ends are 6m6?? All case bottom halves are 6m6, but there are different 6m6, 61x, and 62t cases.

6m6/650 cases need to be flycut to fit the larger 61x cylinder sleeves.
