Hello All,
I recently moved back to So Cal and am getting the X-2 back together!!!!
I had a 750 completely built about 5-6 years ago and was running it in the X-2. The engine has a total of 22 hours on the rebuild and the ski has been sitting garaged for the past 3 years with intermittent starts.
I pulled the motor to do some wiring and hose replacements. While the engine was out I turned the drive coupler by hand and noticed a clicking or knocking noise from the engine. From what I am hearing it sounds like wrist pin bearing or crank play. Maybe this noise is normal? (I hope!) Can someone help me diagnose this since I would hate to put the engine in the ski with bearing issues. There is a video link of the noise below. Thanks for your help!
