Hey guys,

What do you think is causing my rear jug to go?

I've attached pics of both front and rear.

Pull the cylinder most likely the thrust washers on the crank beside the connecting rod or wrist pin bearing failure.

What's causing all the damage on the piston head? Looks like something was banging around in there. I've never had thrust washers or wrist pins fail, but how would that cause the damage were seeing?

This motor actually still runs great and has great power. Go figure this block could have let go any time with minimal warning. It actually runs better than about half the other Bolton 701s. Tough loser in the end.

I'm going to part this motor out but I have not yet fully dismantled it nor taken pictures or posted in the FS section yet. I just need some motivation for breaking it down as I've got way too many other projects happening:

62T Cases are already spoken for.
Stator is already spoken for
Starter motor and Bendix are good working never had any trouble with it
Crank may/may not be good for core
Front piston looks OK but its your call
Rear piston is a nice souvenir
ADA Girdled head may need one dome - may get away with using current dome if you polish it (~180PSI)
Cyl is 61x (Round nose standard equipment) may get by with just a hone, great for bore/port work.
Bedplate
Flywheel
Front cover
Blockoff plate

Thanks
