How durable can it be if it doesn't have mixed hardener? That is the main problem with spray can paint jobs. It is the hardener in the mixture that makes paints resistant to things like carb cleaner and race fuel.

I am getting ready to do my 1100 SXR hull. I am either going white gell or 2 part epoxy died white. Either way, it will be hard as a brick and resistant to any chemicals.

Thats what regular spoof cans have always been like. They are automotive lacquer paint without the hardener.
But people like Yamaslut and some others on here have used this stuff before(epoxy paint in can) and say its resistant to gas/oil, etc.
Id have to see it for myself though...

I sprayed the outside of my rn hull with it, I wouldn't recommend it.. It wasn't as solid and durable as reported. Stuff felt like it didn't dry for a week either. I won't be using it again.
After reading this thread I think I'll be doing the died resin if anything at all.

I thought about using the 2 part floor epoxy paint, and found out that its made for use on a floor....a flat hard surface .not something that will flex , like your hull.. a few jumps or flails and you would have pieces flaking off.
