Super Jet Engine Break-in Oil - Synthetic vs Mineral

So I recently did a full rebuild with new low hour OEM crank, crank seals, all new gaskets, pistons and new (bought used) ADA head with 35cc domes. I've been reading up a lot on how to break it in but not much talk on whether to use mineral or synthetic and whether it applies to my case. Reason I say this is because my cylinders weren't over bored and no damage was done to the walls so I'm doubting I need mineral oil. My crank is also already broken in and was taken out of a WB that was ridden recently.

So, my game plan is to run 32:1 first tank with yama lube doing the whole 10 minutes on/off heat cycles starting at 1/2 throttle then 3/4 throttle then 90% throttle while while running a slightly richer mixture.. making sure to ALWAYS vary the throttle. So I'm actually only breaking in a top end even though I have a new crank.

Does this sound like a game plan? Am I safe running synthetic to break in? Really trying to get as much input as possible to prevent a cold seizure or any damage during the process.

Thanks!

Stick with the Yamalube for break in. You can follow that schedule or just take it easy for the first tank. Ride some, stop for a while. Ride some more. Stop.

Alrighty thanks. Just need to hone the cylinders and finally bolt on the head. Feels like I've forgotten how to ride stand ups since it's been so long I've been out of commission..
Well actually only 2 weeks but feels like damn forever lol

I've never broken any motor in by running it 'easy' per say. You need to load it accel/decel to seat rings nicely. It's pretty much going to 'break in' within the first 10-15 mins. I always run dino oil whether it be a car, motorcyle, two stoke stand up for the first few oil changes/ tanks of fuel.
