so i think i found the problem!!
after having the engine stripped right down to the crank case looked at all the bearings on the crank spinning all fine
put it back togather and the chatter is still there :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
anyway can and could the copper sleve in the flywheel cover wear enough to make a chatter noise at low revs and goes at high
i think when i went out first time round my bendix stuck out and that would (i think?) give me half power and it in turn wore the copper sleve, thus once i get it back to the beach i get the chatter thats what i think any way going to swap my cover with my mate and see
