Super Jet Engine and pump assembly: Grease/sealant and gasket help

My question is, for assembling a 61x engine, which gaskets need some sort of sealant/grease on them an which ones get installed dry?

And also when putting together a stock sj pump, what should be sealed or greased?

I'll be making up a list of everything I need, anyhelp of what to put on it would be great

Use a thin film of ThreeBond 1211 on the case halves. Install everything else dry. Pressure test and if anything leaks, take it apart and 1211 the leaky gasket.

As for a pump, Only thing that I would worry about is making sure your grease is in good shape behind the cone, assuming your bearings are good. I have used 1211 or silicone between the stator half and wear ring halve, as well as on the reduction nozzle.

As for grease, I use Lucas Red and Tacky #2

the only change I did was to grease the inside of the crank seals per the yamaha book.

hondabond works just as well 1211 and is usually available at you local powersports dealer
