Custom/Hybrid Endo51092's Gen3 BOB build

After having the dang thing for over a year, I've finally gotten around to getting my build started. It's gonna be a fairly slow build but I figured I'd get it on here and document it.

For now, it's just gonna be a mild set up. Pinching pennies to get it on the water!

Hull:
Gen3 fiberglass BOB

Handling:
RRP cast pole
Titan micro steering with RRP 50mm riser bars
Stock 144 pump with trim (brand to be decided)
stock nozzle etc etc

Driveline:
62t/61x with protec half girdle head and b-pipe
Stock midshaft/driveshaft
10/16 hooker prop
Stock RN waterbox

Little bit more progress. Got a few packages in from JetManiac, Rdrttoy, and Tomski to get some stuff assembled.

Got my motor most of the way together. Missing a few o rings so that'll be last before pressure testing the motor. Also got my dual cooling set up on my pump and manifold. Slow and steady progress

Also got the steering set up installed!

Not much progress updates throughout the build, but she's done and on the water! Only had to tear it all back apart once to up the carb low speed jets and put new needles and seats in. Runs like a champ now!

You were riding there at Egret Bay? That's where I was riding my BOB without a helmet and peeled 4" of my scalp back. Bacterial infection and all that nice stuff lol. Keep some bleach/water with ya in case you get an open wound. Glad ya got it together and are having fun. I really like the green. Good little fishing spot too.

Yeah, If I plan on any sort of messing around I wear a helmet. My buddy actually split his forehead on the superjet yesterday. Nice trip to the ER. But yeah, she's a fun little ski. Not the best around but alot better than anything else I've messed with!

I was just putting around, but with an 8mil DASA things happen. I wont get on a 550 without a helmet after that. Better safe than sorry. Your buddy wouldn't have been in the ER yesterday, would he?

Yeah. We had just had a conversation about how he needed to buy one soon before he got hurt. I had mine on that day, but he didn't have his yet. Goes to show that kind of stuff can happen any time. He just slipped in the tray jumping a small boat wake and busted into the bars. Nice helmet is coming in the mail after that incident ha
