Custom/Hybrid eme q8 sky pole spring

Is anyone with a q8 running a pole spring? If so post a pic if possible how to get it in there with the pole being bolted on the sides.

im not sure how the q8 pole bolts on, i assume 1 short pivot bolt on each side same as a superfreak ? i am going to try and get a spring on my sf with some type of fabbd adaptor when i get to doing the build soon, i will post pics and info how it works out.

I've been trying to figure it out too. My idea was to make a tube that has a threaded sleeve with a cup on each end. The sleeve will be able to screw down on top of the bolt heads and lock the tube into place. The pole spring would have to be in place on the tube, then push it into place and screw down the cup.
If I had access to some decent software, I'd draw up a pic. The biggest problem I see for my boat is the cable tubes are already drilled into the hull, and they would have to be moved further back to clear the bolt and spring. I would assume a spring support would be mandatory to keep the spring from destroying the hull.

Instead of starting a new thread I'm going to bump this. Did anyone figure out a spring? anyone try a 650sx setup? not a fan of the tight pole
