Super Jet electrical issues..

Okay so i have been trying to get my ski started for a couple of days with no luck at all. i was able to jump it by grounding the relay with a screwdriver. Then i replaced the relay and now it wont even jump. All of the wires are connected properly and the battery is fully charged. I am all out of ideas and i need some opinions on what might be the problem.. Tired of not being on the water!!:aargh4:

Im assuming you checked the fuse? Check motor ground and power cable is good. Using a meter. What exactly is it doing? Like nothing or turning over but not actually starting. I apologize in advance if i missed something, its saturday night.

check the start/stop switch and make sure its still working properly.

Fuse is good, I have two grounds and they are good. And when I hit the start button there is not even a click.

How can I check this?

its in the manual, ohm check impedence it should be open until you press the button

We have been delayed on getting back to this ski due to vacations etc...ok...We chaged the seloniod (relay) and put in a new stop/start switch. Still nothing happening when we hit the button. We are able to jump the relay and it turns over (without touching the start button). Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.

I just had the same problem today. Push the start button and not even a click. I ohmed out the start button by putting an ohmmeter accross the connector that goes to the ebox and it was good.. So the start switch is good. When checking my fuse I noticed the wire going to the fuse had a bump in it. Turns out it was corroded inside. I cut the bad section out and spliced it and it fixed the problem.

Got it started up! ended up being that the fuse circuit was wired incorrectly.. Shows how much a wiring diagram helps!
