I have a ski with a brand new refurbished ebox that I cannot get to start. It will crank if you jump the solenoid terminals. Other than that nothing (no clicking).
I tried a solenoid that I ran last year, nothing either.
Bought a new start/ stop switch, now everything is new, still nothing. So frustrating.
I tried touching the small red wire from the + battery cable directly to the brown wire on the solenoid, nada.
What are the chances both the solenoid I had last year and the new one both are bad? Is there any other test to figure out what is wrong

also check your starter mine went bad 2 years ago and it would sound like the solonoid was clicking but nothing would happen. Goodluck!
