my friend and i started working on my 550 today to see why it wouldn't start. we opened up the electrical box and all this brown and orange water poured out.
and here is what the inside looked like...

clean all those connections good, it will probally crank then although i would replace that solenoid for sure.

i think im going to just replace the whole thing since this one leaks

im 110% sure thats why mine wont start.. and im positive mine looks like that inside too :X

Billy, I am pretty sure that is not your problem. His ski was totally submerged (engine bay full) and there was probably a pretty big leak in the box. The water stayed in there and corroded the connections. I am going to rewire it and see if I can salvage it. Bring it over!

On a side note, my hand looks like it is melting in that picture.

The forum is VB, the mods should be able to change it...unless they have a policy against it. On clevelandracing.com, I generally frown upon it because I didn't want people change names all the time. I know who you are =)

So wait, you are buying an s-10? I thought you were happy with how your sx4 pulled your junk....

a few weeks ago before i got my double trailer i was going to pick up an almost free s10 but it never went through and i forgot to remove it from my signature. the sx4 pulls it with no problems and it is AWD. i do need an appropriate avatar and signature picture though. i have established myself with this name so i think im going to stick with it.
