300/440/550 Electrical box differences between 440 and 550??

I see a few differences but my main concern is there is a few extra wires on the 550 box that run to what i thought is a external fuel pump. Why would there be a pulse line running from case to carb, if there was a fuel pump running on 12 volt impulses? Can I get rid of the of the external pump and just run the fuel lines like they are on the superjet? or does the 550 with the round body mikuni need a external pump with wires that run into the ebox? I need some ADVICE!

I also see a few other differences but can i just use the 440 ebox in the 550?
 
what you think is the fuel pump is actually a rev limiter. it dumps fuel in the carb to limit the rpm at the rev limit. you can just clip the wires and have no rev limiter.
 
Ok thanks guys. is there anything I need to swap from the 550 box into the 440 box to run the 550 engine? The coil looks the same, the relay looks the same. Looks like it would work, just curious if anyone has done it before?

old 440s had larger longer style ebox...


stopper is the same, soloniod is the same, coil is the same, stator is the same...etc...
