Ebox?

Is there a fix for this other than drilling out and tapping? The screw was stuck, would not go all the way in or come out with screwdriver. Used some vice grips and of course it turned the head off. I was wondering if this was a ground and I could attach to the top screw or ground on another screw in the ebox.

Thanks

Sounds good. Im going to give it a try. If not I may be hitting you up for that case Dustin.

I noticed some corrosion on the back of where the battery terminals connect, is this normal? Also, would it be okay to spray the inside down with electronic cleaner to try and clean some of the stuff up?

Thanks

Clean everything in there real good and put a thin layers of waterproof grease on both sides of the gasket and around the rubber pieces that go through the sides of the box before closing up the box. Your box has had some moisture in it and you want to try to eliminate that in the future to prevent further damage.

I don't think electrical connector cleaner will hurt anything. I would opt for unplugging things one at a time (so you don't get confused) and cleaning them individually over just spraying everything. Spraying everything probably wont hurt anything but it's a half assed way to do the job. If something doesn't want to come apart just leave it alone for now. Not worth breaking something that is working.

I always soak the inside of my Eboxs in wd40, it gives everything a water resistant coating and won't hurt any of your electrical, I would suggest doing this after cleaning everything though, wd40 can be used as a cleaner In some cases though
