Ebox damage

Starter relay came off its tabs, must have pinched a wire against the front of the box and wore through it and almost melted right out of the front cover. Along with some water intrusion. It looks like the water didn't really corrode anything but the smoldering relay did some damage.

Is that an OEM relay or one of the Chinese knock offs from Ebay? Just wondering since I just bought a cheapo if I need to do something to secure it better.

have you considered setting it on fire?

OEM relay. I almost did set it on fire, this happened sometime after putting it in the garage after rinsing and before taking it out the next weekend. I had no idea just came out to a dead battery, got lucky IMO.
