Has anyone tried one of these in an OEM Yamaha 155mm pump? My XL's pump is in great shape and it still cavitates like crazy. I know its a couch but I use it to ski behind. It won't start me out on a slalom ski because of the caviatation. It's also good for taking pictures and making monster setupwakes.

the reason why it is cavitation to pull you up is because the boat is under powered for that hull when trying to pull a skier.

Have you fitted the Riva PPK kit? (Riva Pump Plug kit) - its kills 90% of the cavitation dead when installed..

That sounds like what I need. I have bolts stuck in the pump shoe I need to drill out too. I know it isn't under powered the base model gti's pull harder out of the hole.
