Dye/Paint Job on stock seat. ?

Ive seen a few people dye their original yellow seats to a different color. How do they do it? What are they using?

I used upholstry (sp?) paint and it worked great. Can't find any good shots... but it never pealed, chipped showed signs of wear.

ok just found marine grade vinyl on ebay for $12 plus $8 shipping. it was a piece of black 36" X 54" in case anyone needs the idea. now just got to go to harbor freight to buy a numatic stapler.

I used the spray on, have the can somewhere, ill take a pic.. worked perfect as long as the seat was clean and prep'd correctly.
