Never used it on HT but I painted my stock seat on my X2... Held up fir a couple months but started to wear off.

I got a really nice used turfed chinpad that I like a lot, but once I put it on I realized I liked the look of the old black one I had better.

You may be able to just find someone that has some left of black turf that they'll sell you or give to you for shipping. I can't remember if I have any black turf or not but it'd be kinda grungy if I did. Probably wouldn't cost much if any more than a can of vinyl spray paint.

I actually used that on my stock SJ Chin Pad and it works GREAT! I do not know about hydro-turf though???? Never tried it. But if your looking for a quick fix on your chin pad GO FOR IT! It wont peel off either, plus if a mark does happen to get on it just spray some more on it to cover it up and it looks new again!
