Custom/Hybrid Dual Power Band Exhaust? Is this Real?

Hey X-members.

Has anyone seen or heard of this before... Supposedly a perforated internal cone within the expansion chamber can lengthen your powerband... I guess it is supposed to act as a larger expansion chamber when the rpms are low and as they pick up, it acts like a peaky expansion chamber?. Sounds hokie to me...

That liner will attenuate the reflection which reduces the pipes efficiency. This may be a good thing on a 500cc dirtbike but watercraft need all the power they can get.

or you could sue water injection to modify the size of your exhaust chamber, but i dont think its ever been done before

I've used water injection on home built outboard pipe and it works extremely well. At first I used a windshield washer pump and have a video on YouTube where you can see the tach when I flip the switch. Now I just have a valve I turn that uses water pump pressure. I put a 1/16" brass jet at beginning of divergent cone. Video is named tuned pipe water injection switch.

Cool I just mess with outboards and nobody even uses pipes on them
