Ive got a 96 sj stock with a coffman sizzler pipe, and the mechanic i had tune my carb said i need dual cooling. He said its okay to run, but when i took it out today the wwater coming out the pisser was really hot, way hotter than before.
I didnt think that just running a pipe would cause my ski to run so hot, thought that was for skis running high compresion and more mods.
Should a stock 61x 701 with a sizzler need dual cooling? Are my cooling hoses maybe hooked up wrong? Right now i have only 2 hoses, one from the front of the headpipe to the head, and the other from the back of the headpipe to a t going to the waterbox and pisser. Is this right?
The manifold is set up to match the 61x gasket.
