dual cooling Q's

I think i got the basics of dual cooling. I need to tap a brass fitting into the pump bump right across from the stock one. Then run a hose from that to the stock bilge line. But when it gets in the hull, where Do I go with it? My West coast head has a few areas for fittings, is this where it goes?

Also, as far as cooling goes with my riva pipe...

comes in the rear and goes to the exhaust manifold. Then out the top of the cylinder head to the top of the chamber, then out the bottom of the chamber T'd to the bypass and the other part of the T to the stinger.

nvm, figured it out. Looks like I have a lot of drilling and tapping to do.

Why?
You should only need to drill & tap the pump.

You can run two cooling lines into the exhaust manifold. Either tee the two lines together or drill & tap the manifold for a second fitting (I guess there is a second tap & drill :biggrin

Or you can run one line into the manifold and one line into the pipe cooling.

I like to run my cooling lines seperate. One line comes into the exhaust manifold and out the head with 2 outlets then over board. Then the 2nd one goes into he pipe and either out to a t which goes overboard and to the stinger or straight to the stinger. This way you can see and feel which line is working and the temp of each seperately the motor and the pipe. With a b pipe you need to perheat the water for the pipe to work right so that's why they run both lines to the manifold and through the motor

Oh really? So you think its better to split em up between pipe and engine. I cant decide whether I should tap the manifold for a 2nd line, which also means I need to tap the head also. Or split it up. I think I'm going to split it up for now just so I dont have to tap my head.
