I would like to tap a new SN with 1/2" threaded PVC with pipe to hose adapters on them. Is using pvc as a dual cooling thru-hull not a smart idea?

i tapped the hull last time with stainless steel pipe, and ran my syphon bilge to it, using the two stock tapped pipes to run my cooling. i'm trying to think of a good way to get a 1/2" ID pipe in there so I can start running bigger cooling if i go BB

i'm nervous about the pvc cracking or something...

question answered then...some of the guys ride with 1/2" cooling lines...they are also running bigger motors so i figured bigger motor more heat more cooling.

as i got to thinking about it, i'm considering putting in one of these:

because if you think about a garden hose, when you hook up the hose fitting to backflush out the ski, that junk can build up a lot of pressure. if i use this peice i may be able to get the water to flow thru quicker. right? or is this mad scientist crap?

my fs-1 came standard with 1/2" water pipes from the pump...

most big motor builds (esp. Xscream) are using 1/2" water lines now.

PVC from the pump would be fine IMO
