Dual 48mm Novi Maxiflows...couple of questions

Ahhh...gotcha.

As a sidenote, the more I mess with my setup and Phill's setup (similar to mine, but single 44 on a 61x case), the more I want a single carb setup. I cannot believe how strong his motor pulls.
Kinda nice, I ported & built that motor. :Banane01: (With lots of pro advice, mind you)

Okay...the throttle plate measures 49.13mm across at the widest point.
The carb throat diameter at the bombsight is approximately 48mm wide.

Both of them have that recess that Joe was talking bout. Seems the bore causes a hole in the carb body. It has been filled with epoxy, that's what the recess is.

So, they are 48's.
