I dont know the rest of your setup but here is where i would start
100 low
120 high
22psi pop off( please make sure you check and dont just guess)

give that a go it should be close

Wax,
You may be a little bit low on your jetting.

Keep in mind that this is with dual 46 full spectrums but I am running....

Low speed jet 115 about 1 turn open on the low skrew
High speed jet 135 about .5 turn open on the high skrew
N/S 1.5
Spring 65

These setting are at about 1000 ft above sea level. It is about 90 degrees here and the humidity is about 75-80% consistantly. Water temp is probably around 80-85 degrees.

This might give you a good starting point. Mabye try a 120 low speed jet first.

Hope this helps

on my 48 novis i am running 125 low 135 high and 22psi pop off
the setting i gave him was for my limited type 9 boat i used to have

You are running alot higher pop off than i would run and thats why you have a larger low speed than my settings

But what works for one person doenst feel right to other
i am not saying mine are the best or right for this engine only that they worked well for me

Understood,
But he is probably running stock 46s not novis or full spectrums. The jetting specs you gave were lean even for stock 44s. But I am paranoid when it comes to giving jetting advice. As for pop off his stockers may like something a little bit higher. I believe a 1.5 and a 65 gram get you about 25psi of pop.

The very low popoff makes it not "lean".

Yes, it definetely can, but doesn't have to. (It does, in my experience).

However, the point wasn't that it's mushy...the point was it's not lean.

It didnt seem mushy to me in that photo
In fact quite the oppisite

If you run more advance and a lower pop off then mushy is not something you have to worry about

That ski when i removed the head was running fat and could have gone with less up top

you need to remember the top end is about the total amount of jets
so if you have more down low then it is still adding to the total fuel up top

But to be honest when i set up a ski i just listen to what the ski tells me
I dont worry about if i think its lean or rich
the skis knows better than i do

I think you have other issues that are giving you false pop off readings

You better send that chart to Ed Brazina over at Full Spectrum. Cause when he sent me the carbs he said that a 1.5 with a 65 was 24 psi. If I were you I would burn that chart.

I personally just use that chart to get my in the range that I need. Whenever I check pop-off, it's never exactly what that chart says it's going to produce. Weird.
