Dual 38 mm Mikuni carbs on a 550 reed

I have a 93 550 sx reed motor that I am converting to dual 38 sbn silver body carburetors . It has a light clean up port job by LPW . We are trying to get jetting specs for this setup. Anyone know what they would be? Thanks!

i ran 70 pilots, 125- 130 mains with a 2.0 n/s and 65g spring. 18psi popoff. mine was a fully ported reed engine running on 100 octane with dual 38 sbns and a factory full pipe. Paul will get you straight. start with that, should be pretty close depending on pump load and pipe.

Thanks for the info! I’m pretty close to that . I will be able to water test it this weekend and see how it performs. Here are a few pictures of the setup.

I ran dual 38BN carbs on mine for years , then I switched to an Ocean Pro intake which had both Kehin and Mikuni bolt patterns, I installed dual 38 Kehins , removed the reed stuffers and the difference was like night and day , in hindsight though the removal of the reed stuffers was probably the difference .
