Drive shaft seal inquiry

Hi guys, i am taking in water when my ski is parked up on the slipway, and I’m pretty sure it’s getting in tru the drive shaft seal, are these seals stand alone or are they part of the drive shaft bearings..? Thanks in advance....

Are you positive it is coming thru the seal? Could it be coming in between the hull and where the midshaft meet? when was the last time you pulled the midshaft out of the ski?

I purchased the ski a couple of years ago, and have not been working on the shaft, there were no problems until recently...

Try pumping some grease into the Midshaft Zerk Fitting. Don't over do it. About 5 clicks max.

If it still leaks, it could be the Silicone Seal between the Midshaft Housing and the Bulkhead.

If that doesn't work, then the Midshaft Bearings may need to be replaced (Midshaft Rebuild).
