Putting a 5 gallon tank under the seat means it's going to be long and shallow. I foresee nothing but problems with the pickups getting out of the fuel. I though of this but decided it would be a large problematic tank of a very small one.

Wouldnt it be more nose heavy 2 have the gas tank where the water box was? The waterbox is often pretty empty. The fuel tank is second in weight only to the motor as the heaviest thing in the boat.

i guess if i typed that i didnt mean it like that. I think what i ment was use the aftermarket v shape 550 box just for less weight. but once i get the hull im going to cut out under the seat and see what i can do. because like you said the fuel tank is the second heaviest up front.

Okay I just finnished my draw up of the ski. this is the first time i have done this so they will get better!! this is just of basic out sides first. THis is not final of graphic. For graphics i want to do purple and orange flame like on our boat.
