Blaster Don't be "that guy" - 3M 5200

Don't be the guy who thinks you need to put 3M 5200 on the intake manifold studs where your carbs bolt to. Also don't use it on the pump side and diaphragm side screws on your carbs. Argh.... what do people think?!?!?

BTW, anyone have a set of the stand off things that bolt to bottom of a pair of 38s? As you can see from the pic I destroyed them, plus the intake.

Ouch, 5200 is great in the right places and a nightmare in the wrong places. I have seen many midshaft housings destroyed with 5200. We have 62t mani and carb base plate.

Seems like a spot where I would use Yamabond 1211 but definitely not 5200.
