donated spare parts ski?

i seem to remeber reading on here somewhere in ski buildups awhile ago theat there were a few riders in florida helping someone get back on the water after thier ski was stolen and were donating all kinds of parts to put a new ski together..what ever happened to that and was it ever finished?? i was just curious cause i thought it was the ultimate display of what this place is supposed to be all about:thewave:

It's my bro's ski.

it's still being built and no parts were ever actually shipped. We're trying to get it together for daytona.

on a positive note, Ollie and Saki sold him a roundie bare hull at a very discounted price. I've collected a bunch of spares to help with his build but he's going to need a lot of odds and ends. I need to put a list together.
