Super Jet Does this weight sound about right?

I am currently stripping my hull for new paint and turf this winter and I found a couple stress cracks that needs to be addressed. I was reluctant to continue further into my project until I weighed the ski. I just used a typical bathroom scale and the weight read 131.8lbs. As you can see in the picture everything has just about been removed except the midshaft and a few misc. parts, also the entire pump has been removed and the only thing that could add weight under the ski is the aluminum pump shoe I left. Do any of you more seasoned riders know if that weight sounds about right for a SJ hull?

If you still have foam in your tray it's probably water logged

I believe there is still foam in the tray area, and if its water logged is there any way to drain some out if not ill just buy a hull

You need to defoam the back, seal it, and refoam.

Try some small holes and a vacuum pump first. Unless you really want to make that kind of mess.

defoam the ski. i have a defoamed SN hull that weighs 82lbs no hood.
