does this custom fluher allow me to break new engine in on hose???

so i made a flusher that connects to the TWO water intake lines. as this 550 has the dual cooling mod with both intake fittings on the exhaust manifold.

so im wondering, why do they say you cant break your motor in on land ie the hose?
cooling? load?

because im sure i can supply water to the engine, directly into the exhaust mani, just like how it would be if it was in the water. right?
