I think the majority of riders are more than mechanically inclined. If I didn't know anything my seasons would be very expensive and short

Everybody learns sometimes. Either some had knowledge before, or they learned, and then there are those like Gil that never get it!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is old Gil.

I just use bacon grease....smells good too.

Jk. But really I've had more problems recently with this, and I am a firm believer in anti seize now. And you want to talk about tin man? I grew up with a number 2 pencil being left handed...the outside of my hand was permanently silver as a child haha

I'm working on assembling an engine this week for fresh water only. What should I use on each major component (anti-seize, marine grease, red or blue loctite, RTV silicone)?

Please add your recommendation to the list when replying:
Case:
Bed Plate:
Intake:
Cylinder:
Head (girdled):
Ignition Cover:
Starter:
Flywheel:
Stator:

Locktite case bolts and stator, nothing on the flywheel, and Antiseize everything else.
