Does dome size affect squish?

Like the title says;
If I have 1.3 mm (0.051") squish with my 40 cc ADA 760 domes and replace them with 38 cc ones; will I change the squish?

as long as the squish band on each dome is the same (.035" i believe for ada domes) the squish will remain the same.
