Not quite sure what you mean by the top piece? This is heavily laminated on the inside - about 10 to 15 layers of 9oz E-glass. The corners are fairly well rounded.

You're fine then... This is what happened to mine but as you can see, I had a lot more area to grab and I didn't even use as much glass as you did and mine wasn't foamed.

Pretty good guess! I'm actually shortening by 2" - these are my plugs to glass over the holes. I kept the stock angles so I could re-use the exhaust, so that was fun to get the wood in the right shape!


I assume you removed these when you were done right? Want to make me some plugs off these so i dont have to defoam my ski? This way I could just cut my hull and glass in your plugs:1zhelp::1zhelp::1zhelp:

It is now setsuit time and hopefully a week or 2 and shorts only!!! woot woot!

I applied the aircraft remover to your old mod chamber to get all the FP paint off, sanded out the few scratches and wore it out with a high speed buffer!!! BLING BLING. lol

Cool - glad it cleaned up OK. I may need to give you a call - need someone with a bearing press to get the shaft out of my pump.
